About

My original post “What is a Creative Gypsy” explained a few things about my crazy life as an artistic tumbleweed. I was eager to start this blog to make friends in our new location, to keep connections with old ones, and to prove to myself that even at 50 I was not only current, I was very capable of taking on new things like WordPress and it’s been quite a ride!

Not a day goes by that I’m not acutely aware of how blessed I am to be able do what I do.  I’m amazed at God’s goodness and his love for me. I’m blown away that he has a desire to have a close relationship with all of his children.  How can the God of all the universe, who spoke our world into existence, even want a relationship with me? Why would he?  I have no idea.  I only know what I’ve experienced and believe.  That he wants it so much that he sent his only son, Christ to die for me, to make a way to him.  Jesus is my bridge to God  and my friend.  The Holy Spirit is my companion and guide.  I don’t have it all figured out, I doubt I ever will.  Often I stumble and fall but, the trick I’ve learned is to keep getting back up, dusting off and moving forward in the journey grateful for the opportunities I’m afforded.

This blog’s been a fun way for me to enjoy staying in touch with family and friends all over the US and, am tickled I’ve made a few along the blogging way! It’s been fun to find interesting things to share.  My format, “Motivational Mondays” is usually focused on DIY home dec or organization, ‘Needlework Wednesdays” will always be some from of quilting, knitting or crochet, and “Foodie Friday” where I share “on trend” recipes that I dream up or find.  I hope you’ll consider pouring a cup of coffee and staying awhile.  I hope to have some interesting ideas, tips and tricks to share along this journey we call life. 😀

Won’t you join me?

Lo
