Mammacita Lolita’s Guacamole Dip

I’ve converted many the non-Guac eater with this recipe.  Notice the title states dip?   That’s because the mayo and picante make this creamy and delicious.  It’s my husband favorite guacamole recipe that I make. Normally I cook by taste, adding a little of this, a little of that.  So, follow this as a loose recipe.  Feel free to adjust ingredients as you make it so that it appeals to your own tastebuds.

Mommacita Loleeta’s Guacamole Dip

4-5 ripe avocados

1/4 cup chopped cherry tomatoes

1/4 cup diced red onions

2-3 tablespoons  Medium Pace Picante Sauce

2 tablespoons Hellman’s Mayo

4-6 shakes of garlic salt

5 shakes of chili powder

Kosher salt to taste

With knife cut avocado in half, twist fruit to separate, spoon out fleshy fruit and place in a bowl retaining one avocado pit to help keep the dip from going brown prematurely.  With potato masher gently mash avocado to consistency of choice.  Add the remaining ingredients and stir.    Serve with corn chips.  Enjoy!

If you give it a try, I’d love your feedback!
